Crewe FC are proud to release our very own training app, to not only support the ongoing development of our players but also to bring the training pitch to them during the current lockdown!

The Crewe FC Training App, will allow players to access training sessions that are suited to their age and current experience levels, and unlike most training aids support long term athletic development along with the developing a range of techniques.

Players will have access to Ball Mastery, Dribbling, Turning, Passing, Receiving and Finishing sessions, that can be completed with limited equipment and in smaller spaces, meaning that all our players can access some level of football specific training from the comfort of their own home.

Players will be able to access activities that will encourage the development of agility, balance, coordination, strength and speed & there are also a range of fun challenges so players can test themselves, taking ownership of their own development.

Crewe FC Vice-Chairman, Andy Aspinall, who’s been working closely with club partner Amaven to develop the app, is excited to see the club, once again, expanding it’s offering to its members and continuing to be proactive during the lockdown period;

“We are very proud to be launching this app, as a Football Club, we take great pride in trying to be at the forefront of new initiatives and programs for our members and this is another giant step in that direction.

Lockdown has been tough on many of us, and we have attempted to stay connected with members through HIIT Sessions and fun team challenges - and these will continue, but hopefully the introduction of our own app will support the players in getting a ball at their feet again, and support them to continue their development - albeit, from a distance.

We are looking forward to seeing how our players get on with using the app and we also look forward to introducing some further features in the future & allowing coaches to set their own activities for their teams”.
