Crewe FC, in collaboration with Cheshire East Council, are seeking your opinion about the partial re-development of King George V Playing Fields (KGVPF).
As an FA Accredited Community Club, Crewe FC provides opportunities for over 450 players to take part in training, fun sessions and competitive football matches.
The club are seeking to find a new home in order that they can continue to develop and satisfy an ever increasing demand for access to high quality training facilities and matchplay pitches.
The development of a new floodlit Football Turf Pitch (FTP) at the KGVPF would not only provide a new home for Crewe FC but increase the opportunity and availability for a number of local community groups and other sports clubs to access high quality facilities in Crewe.
This survey, which will run until 15th July, is designed to find out peoples views of these plans, prior to the project moving forward.
The survey can be accessed here; https://kwiksurveys.com/s/LZIW6hEk
In addition to this, Crewe FC will be hosting a ‘Public Consultation Event’ on Saturday 25th June at the Wishing Well Georges Community Centre (CW2 8SL) where we will be showcasing the project storyboards & providing people with the opportunity to discuss the plans with the project team in more detail.
For clarity, the proposed development is to add a single, floodlit, secured, Football Turf Pitch (FTP) to the site, the boundary of which is outlined in red. It is not a proposal to develop the full site at the King George V Playing Fields.
Should you require any additional information in the meantime, or wish to discuss this further, prior to the open day on Saturday 25th June, please feel free to contact us on email@example.com
